To provide: a photosensitive blue colored composition which when formed into a blue filter segment for a color filter, shows good patternability, good temporal stability and high transmittance, therefore ensures high lightness; a color filter using the same; and a color display device including the color filter.
The photosensitive blue colored composition comprises at least (a) a transparent resin, (b) a photopolymerizable monomer, (c) a photopolymerization initiator, (d) a coloring material, and (e) a solvent, wherein the transparent resin (a) is a copolymer containing an N-substituted maleimide and having a molecular weight of 3,000-150,000. The coloring material (d) contains a blue colorant, and a proportion of a blue dye in the blue colorant is 5-60 mass% based on the total coloring material.
