PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the stickiness of an unexposed screen photosensitive plate, to enhance resolution, to make dimensional shrinkability smaller and to enhance water resistance, solvent resistance and plate wear by constituting the compsn. of respectively specific emulsions and photocrosslinking agents.
SOLUTION: This compsn. consists of the emulsions obtd. by dispersing compds. having ethylenic unsatd. groups in the presence of a water dispersible polymer and protective colloid and thermally polymerizing the dispersion by an oil-soluble thermal polymn. initiator and at least one photocrosslinking agents selected from a diazo resin and dichromate. The emulsions are obtd. by polymn. using a known method. The photocrosslinking agents are used to impart photosensitivity to the compsn. for screen plate making. Dichromate, such as, for example, ammonium dichromate and potassium dichromate, as well as sulfate, phosphate, zinc chloride double salts of P-diazo diphenyl amine vanyformaldehyde condensate as well as diazo resins, such as cation complex, are usable as the components thereof.
