Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE ELEMENT FOR COLOR DIFFUSION TRANSFER METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6175348
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make possible the formation of a good dye image in an image receiving layer by providing an insulating. layer consisting essentially of nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloid between a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a layer contg. a developer oxide scavenger.

CONSTITUTION: This element contains at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one layer contg. a non-diffusive dye image-forming material which is oxidized by the oxide of a silver halide developer and can release a diffusive dye or the precursor thereof under the alkaline processing conditions combined with the emulsion layer and at least one layer contg. the developer oxide scavenger. The separating layer consisting essentially of the nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloid is provided between the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the layer contg. the developer oxide scavenger. As a result, the positive diffusion transfer dye image is obtd. by using various reversal processes.
