To provide techniques related to a heat-developable photosensitive material giving required sensitivity and maximum density and capable of also improving light resistance and silver tone.
A photosensitive emulsion for a heat-developable photosensitive material is characterized in containing silver iodobromide grains having 0.1-4 mol% silver iodide content as photosensitive silver halide grains, a non- photosensitive organic silver salt, a binder, a reducer and a compound of formula (1). A heat-developable photosensitive material is characterized in having a layer formed by applying the photosensitive emulsion on at least one side of a support. An image recording method is characterized in that the heat- developable photosensitive material is exposed with laser light of 770-1,100 nm wavelength is provided. A processing method for a heat-developable photosensitive material is characterized in that the above heat-developable photosensitive material is processed at a development temperature of 100-150°C.
