PURPOSE: To obtain the photosensitive material drier for uniformly blowing hot air against a photosensitive material in its cross direction without the overdried part being generated in the cross direction of the material.
CONSTITUTION: Hot air is blown from a hot air feed part 114 against a film which is dried, and a hot air receiving opening 48B is formed on one end of a hot air feed chamber 116 with the cross direction of the film as its longitudinal direction. A hot air discharge port 118 is formed at the hot air discharge part 120 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the hot air feed chamber and projected from the hot air feed chamber. The width of the hot air discharge part is gradually decreased from its middle toward the wall 122 on the opening side of the hot air discharge part and closed in the vicinity of the wall. Besides, an opening 124 for communicating the hot air discharge part with the outside is formed in the wall of the hot air discharge part. Consequently, the hot air discharged from the hot air discharge part is almost uniformized in the cross direction of the film, and the almost uniform discharge area is increased.
