PURPOSE: To improve color sepn. and saturation by incorporating the polymerizable compd. and compd. which suppresses the color development of a color image forming material housed in microcapsules and microcapsules which do not contain the color image forming material into a photosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION: The polymerizable compd. and the compd. which suppresses the color development of the color image forming material housed in the microcapsules and the microcapsules which do not contain the color image forming material are incorporated into the photosensitive layer. The saturation of a blue monochromatic part improves if the microcapsules contg. the compd. which suppresses the color development of the color image forming material is blue sensitive, and the saturation of a green monochromatic part improves if the above-mentioned microcapsules are green sensitive. Further, the saturation of monochromes of blue, green and cyan improves in the case of using the microcapsules contg. the compd. which suppresses the color development of two kinds of the blue sensitive and green sensitive color image forming materials. Further, the saturation of all monochromes of blue, green, red, yellow, magenta, and cyan improves in the case of 3 kinds of the blue sensitive, green sensitive and red sensitive materials are used.
