PURPOSE: To improve the development property of the title material by mounting an undercoat layer contg. a specified compd., and a photosensitive layer on a supporting body having a hydrophilic surface, respectively.

CONSTITUTION: The undercoat layer contg. the compd. having at least one of group selected from the group comprising thiol, thioether and disulfide groups, and the photosensitive layer contg. a polymer compd. which is insoluble to a diazonium compd. and water, and soluble to an alkaline aqueous solution, are mounted on the supporting body having the hydrophilic surface. The supporting body is exemplified by for example, a paper, a paper laminated a plastics, a metal plate etc. composed of such as an aluminum, zinc or cupper, etc. The polymer compd. which is insoluble to the water and soluble to the alkaline aqueous solution is exemplified by a phenol-formaldehyde resin, a cresol-formaldehyde resin or a phenol modified xylene resin, etc. Thus, the development property of the material is improved.
