Abstract:

To provide a photosensitive transfer material which is less likely to cause faulty transfers, even in high-speed transfer and substantially avoids reticulation and oozing-out of a thermoplastic resin layer, even if stored in a high-humidity atmosphere.

The photosensitive transfer material has on a temporary that supports an alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer, containing a compound having an I/O value of 0.30-0.45 and a photosensitive resin layer in this order from the temporary support side. The compound, preferably, has an I/O value of 0.32-0.43 and the thermoplastic resin layer, preferably, contains the compound in the amount of 0.5-20 mass%, based on the total mass of the thermoplastic resin layer.
