Title:
PHOTOSETTING COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3021378
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject material free from the premature polymerization in deaeration or the polymerization by sunlight, resistant to the deterioration of mechanical properties of the cured material and useful as a molded article for dental use, etc., by mixing a photosetting monomer with a filler and an anaerobic stabilizer (and/or a stable organic radical).
SOLUTION: This composite material is produced by mixing (A) at least one kind of photosetting monomer with (B) at least one kind of filler (e.g. glass powder) and (C) at least one kind of anaerobic stabilizer and/or stable organic radical. The anaerobic stabilizer is preferably phenothiazine or a phenothiazine derivative of the formula (R and R1 are each independently a 1-5C alkylene, a 1-5C oxyalkylene, etc.; X and Y are each independently H, a halogen, etc.) and the stable organic radical is preferably 2,2-diphenyl-1- picrylhydrazyl radical, etc.
