A near infrared ray generating part 2 is formed from a pipe- shaped discharge tube such as a tungsten lamp. A far infrared ray generating part 3 is formed from a ceramic plate mainly composed of alumina, silica and titania, etc. With the tube-shaped near infrared ray generating part 2 as a center, the plate-shaped far infrared ray generating part 3 is arranged around it. Then, the equipment is constituted so as to match the irradiating directions of both the infrared ray generating parts 2 and 3. Thus, one piece of therapy equipment performs desired therapy by irradiating the diseased part with near infrared rays or far infrared rays. At such a time, since the irradiating directions of both the infrared rays are coincident, the same diseased part can be irradiated with any infrared ray without moving therapy equipment 1.
