PURPOSE: To speedily plot a broken line by inputting parameters of a desired figure, calculating the widths of a longer line, shorter line and dashed part composing a single dot chain line or a chain line width two dots, correcting the figure so that it can be balanced as a whole and then plotting the broken line.
CONSTITUTION: Software specifying a figure is previously called from a CPU through the operation of a console panel to specify a figure, and simultaneously parameters featuring the figure and parameters of a line segment are fetched and stored. Then, the length of a circumference and the total length of sides are calculated and stored based on the input parameters. Consecutively, pitches are obtained on the basis of the lengths of already input longer, shorter and dashed parts. Then, prescribed division is performed to calculate the number of lines and the length of dashed parts. Moreover, correction quantity is calculated for each pitch in a similar manner. After the above-mentioned procedures, a desired figure can be plotted. However, if a dashed part (g) faces the start part A or end part B of each line segment, the length of the longer line part (l) or that of the dashed part (s) is altered or adjusted so that the longer line part (l) faces the start and end parts A and B.
