Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a photovoltaic device which excels in photoelectric efficiency without a curve factor being lowered even when the internal electric field of a photoelectric layer becomes nonuniform in the plane direction of the layer plane due to that the boundary face at which a translucent conductive film comes into contact with a photoelectric layer is formed in an irregular form and the like, and to simply and surely manufacture it.
CONSTITUTION: When an internal electric field in a photoelectric, layer becomes nonuniforn in the plane direction of the layer plane due to the irregularities and the like of a boundary face at which a photoelectric layer 3 comes into a translucent conductive film 2, the film thickness of a light generating layer 3b in the part with which the recessed part 2a of the translucent conductive film comes into contact is made thinner or the like, that is, the thickness of the light generating layer 3b is made thinner than the other part in the weak part of an internal electric field, when the film thickness of the light generating layer 3b in the part with which the recessed part of the translucent conductive film comes into contact is made thinner, irregularities are formed in the light generating layer as in the translucent conductive film by the light intensity of the interference fringe of light.
