Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-film photovoltaic device which can reduce a dead area of the device, because segmentation of thin films of the photovoltaic device reduces a useful area of the device.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic device comprises: a photovoltaic cell 60 having active thin layers 15 being unsegmented deposited on a substrate 10; and an electrostatic converter 50. Each static converter 50 is adapted in such a way as to transmit electrical power supplied by the photovoltaic cell towards a load 100, by reducing transmitted current and increasing transmitted voltage.
