PURPOSE: To suppress fluctuation of output from commercial power supply by absorbing fluctuation of power generated from solar cells through a load driven through an inverter.
CONSTITUTION: Fluctuation of power generated from solar cells 2 is detected by means of a power detector 9 arranged on the output side of a first inverter circuit 4. Since the first inverter circuit 4 is normally driven with power factor 1, the power detector 9 detects only effective power. Fluctuation of power generated from the solar cells 2 and detected through the power detector 9 is fed to a control circuit for a second inverter circuit 7. The second inverter circuit 7 varies the driving frequency based on the input data and suppresses fluctuation of power generated from the solar cells 2. According to the constitution, fluctuation of a commercial power supply 1 can be suppressed.
