PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation amount prediction apparatus enabling a user to visually grasp an inappropriate part in area division.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation amount prediction apparatus 1 comprises: an area division map 40 used in a case of dividing a sky image of an upper air of a solar panel into sky, cloud, and sun areas; storage means 13 storing original image information that is time series information on sky images from past to present time, and processing-result image information that is time series information containing an area division image obtained by dividing the sky image into the areas on the basis of the area division map 40 and an area division image at future time used for power generation amount prediction on the basis of the area division images up to the present time; and processing means displaying a display screen displaying a combination of the area division map 40, the sky image at the past time, and the area division image at the past time on output means 16 when receiving an instruction to display the area division map 40 via input means 15.
