Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation utilization system whose efficiency of using power generated by a solar cell is improved.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation utilization system 10 comprises: a power converter 12 between an AC power supply S and a load M; a solar cell SC for receiving sunlight to generate power; an electric double layer capacitor EDLC to be charged with power generated by the solar cell SC; a boosting unit 14 for supplying power to the power converter 12; first changeover means 16 for performing changeover between charging and discharging using power generated by the solar cell SC; second changeover means 18 for turning ON/OFF of connection between the electric double layer capacitor EDLC and the boosting unit 14; a DC current detection unit 20 disposed between the solar cell SC and the first changeover means 16 to detect DC current; an AC current detection unit 22 for detecting AC current flowing in the load M; and a control unit 26 for controlling changeover of the respective changeover means 16, 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
