Abstract:

To provide a phthalocyanine compound giving printed matter excellent in color purity, print density and image robustness such as ozone resistance.

This phthalocyanine compound has at least one ionic hydrophilic group represented by general formula (1) as a substituent. In general formula (1), R₁ to R₄ each independently represents H or a substituent; X represents a 2-20C alkylene group which may have a substituent; L represents a single bond or a divalent linking group; m denotes an integer of 0-7; n denotes an integer of 1-8; and the sum of m and n is 4-8.
