Abstract:

To provide a physical state detector accurately detecting a physical state without depending on the mounting direction of an acceleration sensor, and a detection method and a detection program.

The physical state detector includes a triaxial acceleration sensor (1) put on the body; a data collecting means (2) collecting acceleration vector data output from the triaxial acceleration sensor; and a processing means (5). The processing means (5) detects the walking state of the body using the continuously collected acceleration vector data, determines a gravity acceleration vector and a body axis using the continuous acceleration vector data within a period of a walking state, computes an absolute value of each acceleration vector, an average value of the absolute values, a standard deviation and periodicity regarding the continuously collected acceleration vector data, and determines the walking state when the standard deviation is within the predetermined range and the periodicity is larger than a predetermined value.
