To provide a physical distribution support system capable of re-supplying packaging material to a manufacturing factory every machine type and every manufacturing date by giving inherent information such as a manufacturing factory number and a machine type name to the packaging material when the commodity is packed in the manufacturing factory, and reading the inherent information by a sales shop and a physical distribution center to manage the same in an accumulation center when the packaging material becomes unnecessary.
This physical distribution support system is provided with a means for giving inherent information for specifying the commodity to the packaging material, and the inherent information is managed by the reading and accumulation center to effectively reuse the packaging material.
