Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct an accurate geological survey by accurately grasping the developing time of impact force.
SOLUTION: Electric energy is fed to a metal fine wire 1a in a short time, an elastic wave propagated in the surveyed natural ground is generated by the impact force when the metal fine wire 1a is fused and vaporized, and its reflected wave or refracted wave is detected by an acceleration sensor 4 to survey the geological features of the natural ground. A discharge switch 8 is turned on by a trigger signal, electric energy is fed to the metal fine wire 1a, the trigger signal is extracted to a vibration measuring device 12 via a starting output line 21 to detect the electric energy feed start time, and the delay time from the electric energy feed start to the generation of the impact force inputted in advance in response to the characteristic of a hypocenter device 1 is added to obtain the developing time of the impact force.
