PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of position confirmation and lighten the burden on a user program by partially enlarging and displaying an area at the periphery of a pick input position.

CONSTITUTION: When input operation is performed by a pick input means 25 through an input device 40 for a graphic which is developed into an image in a frame buffer 24 by a graphic drawing means 21 and currently displayed on the screen of a graphic display device 30, an area enlarging means 26 partially enlarges and displays the area at the periphery of an input cursor if it is difficult to indicates the graphic on the screen where the graphic is currently displayed, thereby facilitating the confirmation of the pick input position by an operator and enabling the input operation.
