PURPOSE: To provide a picking method which facilitates individual picking work and grouping of the work.

CONSTITUTION: A vessel 13 on which a label 23 which carries picking information is attached is stored in a parent box 3 and a child box 7 which are grouped in the same group, and the child box 7 is conveyed in continuation with the parent box 3. An article W is picked into each vessel 13 in the parent box 3 and the child box 7 in accordance with picking information. Upon completion of picking, the vessel 13 in the child box 7 is packed into the parent box 3. The parent box 3 only is shipped and delivered, and the child box 7 is recovered.
