Abstract:
To easily turn not only a new lock but also an existing lock mounted in a door or the like, into a picking preventive lock.
There is provided a picking preventive device for the lock mounted in the door or the like of the building. Conventionally, locking claws of the lock have been set or released by inserting and rightward/leftward rotating a relevant key, by means of an operating lug at an internal end of a lock shaft. However, by virtue of provision of the picking preventive device, a weight is removably mounted in the lock, whereby insertion of an instrument different from the key corresponding to the operating lug, does not lead to releasing of the lock due to the weight pressure of the weight.
