PURPOSE: To sharply reduce the number of cutting-out means and to improve reliability in the system as a whole by making the cutting-out means possible for running and stopping on a track set up along a rack.
CONSTITUTION: A rack 4 equipped with a proper number of shelves 3 housing small articles 2 in piles is set up at both sides of a carry-out unit 1 in the shape of covering this carry-out unit 1 after tilting each shelf as far as 10 degrees. In addition, a carriage 6 with a cutting-out means 5 is set up in a lower part of the rack 4, and a cutting-out operation takes place as repeating a series of running and stopping on a track 7 laid down along the carry-out unit 1 and the rack 4. In brief, a motor 10 mounted on the carriage 6 is rotated, and a cutting-out arm 13 is projected frontwards, extruding such at the last end among small articles 2 stacked up in piles on the shelf, so cutting out to the carry-out unit 1 is carried out. Adjustment for the cutting-out arm 13 is performed by a clamp 16 so as to make the tip push out each central part of the small article 2 to be cut out.
