PURPOSE: To provide a pickling bottle which has a simplified structure, is easy to handle and can readily discard the unneeded solution oozing out from vegetables at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: The bottle is composed of the outer vessel 1 having female screw 1a on the inner surface of the side wall 11 and the inner vessel 2 of a bottom-having cylinder having male screw 2a to be fitted to the female screw 1a in the outer vessel 1 and a grip 23 on its top. The inside vessel 2 is perforated on the bottom. Vegetables and a pickling mix are put in the outer vessel 1, and the inner vessel is screwed into the outer vessel 1 to press the vegetables with the bottom of the inner vessel 2, thus the vegetables are pickled for a prescribed time.
