PURPOSE: To prevent the kneading of a pickle solution caused by the pressure increase of the pickle solution by forward moving the piston of a reciprocating piston pump only when an injection needle is thrust into raw meat.

CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating piston pump 7 is connected to a prickle solution- supplying tank 5 and to a pickle solution-receiving chamber 12, and a pickle solution in the pump 7 is supplied to the pickle solution-receiving chamber on the forward stroke of the piston pump. The height position of each injection needle 1 is detected by a detection means such as a limit switch and the piston of the piston pump is forward moved when the injection needle is thrust into raw meat.
