PURPOSE: To reduce the man-hours for adjustment, by continuously performing the purity adjustment and the convergence adjustment, through the simultaneous mounting of the deflection yoke positioner and the magnet ring adjustment unit with the color CRT and the constitution of independent drive source.
CONSTITUTION: The opening 13 of the deflection yoke positioner 12 mounted on the color CRT 11 is held, and the deflection yoke positioner 10 turning the yoke 12 is provided by taking the shaft as the center. The unit 10 is provided with the first and second swing units 50 and 20 which independently adjust the horizontal suring and vertical swing of the opening 13 of the yoke 12, and further, provided with the slider 70 sliding toward the shaft center. Further, the magnet ring adjusting unit 83 which can adjust the ring 17 independently by gearing it with the gears of six magnet rings 17 mounted on the CRT11, is provided. The tilt adjustment of the screen of CRT and the purity and convergence adjustment are performed sequentially with the picture adjustment data processing circuit 52.
