PURPOSE: To eliminate an artificial mistake in the generation, modification, and correction of a program when another picture is desired to display by supplying the parameter information of a line, a fixed character, the position of a data item from a picture input/output device.

CONSTITUTION: A parameter information division part 4 divides a parameter information table 3 into picture output and data item parameter information tables 5, 6. The line and the fixed character corresponding to the parameter information are displayed on a CRT 8 with a display part 7 based on the parameter information in the table 5. Next, when the picture of the table 6 is outputted, a data input processing part 10 calculates numeric values representing the column position and the row position of the data item in the table 6, and finds the address of a corresponding data item in a VRAM on a memory. The address is delivered to a control part 11, and key input from a keyboard 9 can be performed to a corresponding position on the CRT 8, and a processing to move a depressed key or a cursor is performed. A data storage part 12 stores data on the CRT 8 into the file 13 comprehensively.
