PURPOSE: To take out automatically a removed toner to the external without dirt, by providing a means, which accumulates a developer recovered in a cleaning device and scatters it onto a transfer paper at a prescribed time, to fix the scattered developer on the transfer paper by heating.

CONSTITUTION: A residual developer on a photoreceptor 2 is removed by a magnet roller 18 of a cleaning device. The removed developer is drawn back into a toner accumulating box 23 of a scattering device 21. When a prescribed quantity of the developer is accumulated in the accumulating box 23, a shaft 22 is turned by a motor 26, a worm 25, and a worm wheel 24, and the developer recovered into this accumulating box 23 is scattered onto a transfer paper P on a carrying belt 13. The scattered developer is fixed in a fixing part 14 and is discharged together with the transfer paper P to the outside of the machine.
