PURPOSE: To form a picture even with brief exposure by a low-output laser beam.

CONSTITUTION: The recording layer consisting of a photosensitive resin composition contg. a resin having an oxazole derivative in the side chain and a sensitizer is irradiated with light to form a picture, and then the recording layer is developed with an aq. soln. of the primary or secondary amine having at least one ionized group to form a latent image. The recording layer is then dipped in an aq. soln. of an amine or cationic sensitizer to chemisorb the sensitizer on the latent image, and the whole surface is exposed by the beam in the absorption wavelength of the sensitizer to promote the oxidation reaction, and the recording layer is developed by the aq. amine soln. to record a picture.
