PURPOSE: To manage one-dimensionally a picture information by transcending a time and a space by adding not only an individual picture number in each storage device but also absolute picture number common to each station.
CONSTITUTION: In a blackboard device 1, a picture information X inputted from a digitizer device 2 or a document device 3 is stored 7 after an individual picture number (n) and an absolute picture number F are added by a control device 6. The control device 6 reads out the number F corresponding to the number (n) from the device 7, and informs F to a control device 6' of the other station. In this case, the device 6' sends back an information of understanding to the control device 6 of the own station side, when the number F exists in a stored 7' data. On the other hand, in case when the number F does not exist, the device 6' informs its fact to the control device 6 of the own station side, the device 6 transfers automatically a picture data to the control device 6' of the other station, and the control device 6' of the other station adds an individual number F' and an absolute number F in the other station, to this picture data, and stores 7'.
