PURPOSE: To surely attain picture storage even with a memory of a small capacity by using an address designation means so as to rewrite a new picture from a first storage address again when the storage to a final storage address allocated to a camera is finished.
CONSTITUTION: A pickup timing is controlled by an image pickup control section 4 and the picked-up picture is stored in a picture memory 5 such as a RAM. A central control section 7 controls the image pickup control section 4 in the presence of the signal. Then a picture inputted from a relevant camera is stored in a picture memory by a preset pattern and the picture stored in a memory area of the picture memory storing the picture is stored. When the storage of picture is finished, whether or not an idle memory exists in the picture memory 5 is searched and when an idle memory exists, its head address is set and picture monitor by the camera 1 is again implemented. When no idle memory exists, the picture monitor by the camera 1 is finished.
