PURPOSE: To freely set the size a picture with a user and to deal the picture of the different size by setting the picture size setting part, combining a unit picture memory and dealing as the one enlarged picture memory.

CONSTITUTION: A picture size setting part 4 is provided between a picture input part 1 and a picture processing part 2 and a picture memory 3. The picture size setting part 4 combines unit picture memories 3a, 3b,... of only a necessary number according to the setting of a user an size-setting and constitutes the enlarged picture memory. Moreover, the combination of the combined unit picture memories and the size are registered. Besides, on referring of the picture memory, an address for picture memory referring is generated according to the registration on setting. Thus, the user can set the size of the picture freely and can deal the picture of the different size.
