Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform a series of picture processing jobs at high speed such as the reading and converting jobs of the picture data and a writing job of the converted picture data, by providing two picture memories for picture information and two buses which give accesses to said picture memories. CONSTITUTION:A system bus 210 is connected to the picture memories 203 and 204 and a mask information memory via gates 203b, 204b and 205b respectively. While a high-speed picture transmission bus 211 is connected to the memories 203 and 204 and the mask information memory via gates 203a, 204a and 205a respectively. A high-speed processing part 202 stores the read picture data into the memory 204 via the bus 210 and the gate 204b and at the same time reads the next picture data via the bus 211 while the picture data is stored in the memory 204. In such a way, both accesses are simultaneously carried out for the storing and reading jobs of the picture data.
