Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the moving time by providing an area designation means, a read means reading each of areas and a moving means moving the read means and moving the read section to a reference point of the next area after one area is read. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 25 stores coordinate data of areas A, B in advance. Thus, the location of a home position HP2 of the area B is discriminated in the scanner direction from the end of the area A. Thus, after the end of scanning in the area A, the scanner 10 is not decelerated by a motor 11 but the moving speed is increased further in the scanning direction. Through the increase in the moving speed, the moving time to the home position HP2 of the area B is reduced. Thus, the copying process is reduced by the time for one interval of generation of a TBASE' signal (detection signal).
