CONSTITUTION: Reflected light by the original of illumination light emitted from an illumination part 36 is made incident on a prism 35 by an appropriate optical system 39. The prism light-analyzes light which is made incident on the prism in the vertical directions of a drawing for respective colors. A line CCD sensor in the highest place of the line CCD sensor 37 of three lines is arranged in a position on which the light of R(red) component is made incident among light which is dispersed, a line CCD sensor in the middle place of the line CCD sensor 37 of three lines in a position on which the light of a G(green) component is made incident among light which is dispersed and a line CCD sensor in the lower place of the line CCD sensor 37 of three lines in a position on which the light of a B(blue) component is made incident among light which is dispersed. Thus, color slurring can be dissolved since the respective colors of the same place on the original can simultaneously be read.
