Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal increase in ambient temperature in the vicinity of a light source and to keep the temperature at the lighting start of the light source by providing a means detecting the temperature near the light source so as to control lighting/extinguishment of the light source based on the result of detection. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a fluorescent light being the light source is measured continuously by a thremister 15 being a detection means. In discriminating the temperature of the fluorescent light below a preset temperature by a temperature detection control circuit 12, a lighting control signal is sent to a light source lighting/extinguishing circuit 13 to apply the lighting control to the fluorescent light. When the fluorescent light is lighted, and the temperature rises into a prescribed temperature or over, the extinguishing control is applied again. The ambient temperature in a carriage 7 is continuously measured also by the detection means and in discrimianting the ambient temperature in the carriage 7 in excess of the prescribed temeprature by the circuit 12, a cut-off control signal is given to a power interruption circuit 10 to interrupt the power to the carriage 7. Thus, the light source goes off and the temperature rise in the carriage 7 is stopped.
