Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly acquire information relating to a photographic image projected by a camera function of a portable terminal, and display the information on a screen of the portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal extracts a feature point of a still image or a moving image (hereinafter, "photographic image") acquired by imaging means. The portable terminal prepares a database in which a feature point of an original image is stored in advance, collates the feature point stored in the database with the feature point of the extracted photographic image as a retrieval key, determines that, if the collating feature points are found in the database, the image is a hit image, and displays information relating to the hit image on a screen of the portable terminal.
