Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the detection of a detection object in an environment, such as nights, where a monitoring area is dark, even in the case where an infrared communication device, such as an electronic shelf label system, is installed within the monitoring area.SOLUTION: An image sensing device includes: a camera 2 sequentially capturing a monitoring area and having a sensitivity in an infrared band and a visible light band; and a moving object detection section 10 detecting a moving object from an image captured by the camera 2. The image sensing device further includes: an infrared communication determination section 9 determining the presence/absence of infrared rays that are at least an obstacle to the detection of a moving object in the monitoring area; and an illumination control section 5 controlling such that the monitoring area is irradiated with visible light illumination when the infrared communication determination section 9 determines that infrared rays that are an obstacle is present.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
