Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a picture size switching camera for always and appropriately linking a picture size switching operation part with a picture size switching mechanism, at the time of closing a rear cover even if a constitution that the switching operation part is provided on the rear cover is adopted.
CONSTITUTION: In the picture size switching camera having the picture size switching mechanism provided with light shielding plates 42 and 43 so that they are advanced or retreated into or from the aperture of the camera setting an image forming region on a film and using a position where the light shielding plates 42 and 43 are retreated from the aperture as a large picture size on the film and a position where the plates 42 and 43 are advanced into the aperture as a small picture size on the film, an energizing means always energizing the light shielding plates 42 and 43 in a direction where they are retreated from the aperture and the large picture size is obtained, the rear cover 12 provided so as to open/close with respect to a camera body 11, the picture size switching operation part 30 provided on the rear cover 12 and linked with the picture size switching mechanism in the closed state of the rear cover 12 and an energizing mean always energizing the switching operation part 30 in the direction for selecting the large picture size are provided.
