PURPOSE: To provide a piece for forming a bottle stopper section having excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability and mechanical strength and a bottle having the stopper section having superior heat resistance, dimensional stability and mechanical strength and made of saturated polyester and manufacture thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A piece for forming a bottle stopper section are composed of a polyester composition containing (i) polybutylene terephthalate and (ii) talc and/or titanium dioxide. A bottle made of saturated polyester, in which a stopper section consists of the polyester composition containing (i) polybutylene terephthalate and (ii) talc and/or titanium dioxide and a drum section is made up of oriented saturated polyester, and manufacture thereof in the bottle composed of the stopper section and the drum section and made of polyester are provided.
