In a piercing device 10 for punching a piercing hole by inserting a punch 1 into a hollow bush 2 from above, a first cavity part 2a and a second cavity part 2b are formed in the inside of the bush 2. The first cavity part 2a is formed into a size corresponding to the piercing hole. On the other hand, the second cavity part 2b is provided adjacently below the first cavity part 2a and formed larger than the first cavity part 2a. In the lower part of the second cavity part 2a, there is provided a piercing valve 3 for supporting a pierced scrap 8a elastically in the inside of the second cavity part 2a. Further, there is provided a chute 4, which is arranged so as to have the inclination of downward pitch, below the piercing valve 3.
