Abstract:

To obtain a piezoelectric component where a sufficient adhesion strength is obtained between a substrate and a piezoelectric resonator and a short-circuit between support member formed to the piezoelectric resonator hardly takes place.

A piezoelectric component 10 includes a substrate 12 on which a pattern electrode is placed. A piezoelectric resonator 20 is mounted on the substrate 12. The piezoelectric resonator 20 excites lengthwise vibration and includes a pillar-shaped substrate 22 and external electrodes 34, 36 are formed on both sides of a groove 28 formed on one side face of the substrate 22. Support members 38, 40 made of a conductive material are formed in the external electrodes 34, 36 in the middle of the substrate 22 in the lengthwise direction. The support members 38, 40 are adhered to the pattern electrode of the substrate 12 by a conductive adhesives 42. In this case, an insulating adhesives 44 is placed between the support members 38, 40.
