Abstract:
To provide a piezoelectric element which has excellent mechanical properties and can exhibit high power generation performance, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 1 is composed of a laminate in which a polymer nonwoven fabric 3 and a polymer resin sheet 2 are laminated such that at least one layer of the polymer nonwoven fabric is included, and at least a part of fibers constituting the polymer nonwoven fabric 3 is a piezoelectric ceramic particle-containing fiber including piezoelectric ceramic particles, and the polymer resin sheet 2 is a polymer resin sheet containing piezoelectric ceramic particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
