Abstract:
To provide a piezoelectric element in which a change or weakening in electronic characteristics thereof is suppressed and stable piezoelectric characteristics and strength are implemented at all times even if it is used under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, and the need for a complicated circuit is eliminated.
The piezoelectric element comprises: a piezoelectric ceramic powder 5 formed with a water repellent coating layer 6 which is formed by covalent bonding of a titanium coupling agent on a particle surface; an organic polymer 4 having flexibility; and a piezoelectric composition pressure-sensitive body 1 comprising a mixture of the titanium coupling agent.
