Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure high voltage needed to ignify an ignition plug by two stage voltage rise using a piezoelectric transformers.
CONSTITUTION: Voltage of a battery 10 is raised by a first piezoelectric transformer 12. A capacitor 4 is changed with the raised voltage. The charged voltage of the capacitor 14 is applied to a second piezoelectric transformer 17 in synchronism with ignition timing, whereby voltage is raised to yield high voltage. The high voltage is applied to an ignition plug 18 for ignition of the same.
