Abstract:

To provide a piezoelectric material which is good for the environment and whose various piezoelectric properties are well-balanced and very excellent.

A piezoelectric material is represented by general formula: (K_aNa_bLi_c)(Nb_B-d-eTa_dSb_e)O₃+xmol%BaTiO₃+ymol%CuO, wherein B=1.1, a+b≥0.96, while 0.4≤a≤0.52, 0.46≤b≤0.54, 0.004c≤0.057, 0.1≤d≤0.2, 0.005≤e≤0.04, 3≤x<7 and 2≤y≤4. Preferably an electromechanical coupling coefficient Kp, a relative dielectric constant εr and a mechanical quality factor Qm of the piezoelectric material are Kp≥30%, εr≥900 and Qm≥900, respectively.
