PURPOSE: To reduce noise effectively by a method wherein the vibration control function and vibration transmitting function of a vibration control member are switched to be applied depending on a purpose, and in addition, the elimination of noise which is generated from confronted locations is combined for the effect.

CONSTITUTION: A vibration control member which is filled in a second space wraps a piezelectric element 1, and is adhesive-bonded to the inside of a base 2, and therefore, the vibration member suppresses the vibration of the piezoelectric element 1 and base 2. The base 2 vibrates by a vibration energy which is transmitted from the piezoelectric element 1. A third space is a doughnut- shaped space which is formed by the outer surface of the base 2 and the peripheral wall of a piezoelectric printing head, but if the vibration control member is filled in the third space, the vibration control member works to transmit the vibration noise of the base 2 to the peripheral wall of the piezoelectric printing head, and the vibration noise of the base 2 is transmitted to the outside, contrary to the original purpose. Therefore, the noise is reduced when the third space is kept to be an air layer.
