To miniaturize a piezoelectric relay by matching a load characteristic with an output characteristic of a piezoelectric actuator.
A piezoelectric relay is composed of a contact driving lever 8 driven through a piezoelectric element moved in response to an impressed voltage, and a coil spring mechanism moved in response to the contact driving lever 8, and a movable contact 2 is driven by snap action of the coil spring mechanism. In this case, by using an inversion coil spring mechanism composed of an inversion plate 3 and a coil spring 10 and for performing a snap action, a load characteristic and an output characteristic of a piezoelectric actuator 7 are matched with each other, whereby it is possible to correspond it with a piezoelectric actuator formed smaller than a conventional one.
