Title:
PIEZOELECTRIC RESONATOR AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT USING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3266031
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a ΔF (difference between a resonance frequency and an anti-resonance frequency) and a capacitance or the like by increasing a degree of freedom of characteristic design, reducing spurious radiation and increasing the ΔF.
SOLUTION: A piezoelectric resonator 10 includes a base body 12 being a lamination of a plurality of piezoelectric layers and a plurality of electrodes. The base body 12 is polarized in different polarity at both sides of each electrode 14. The electrodes 14 are coated by insulation films 16, 18 at an interval on both opposed side faces of the base body 12. The insulation films 16, 18 respectively coat the different electrodes 14. External electrodes 20, 22 are formed to the opposed side faces of the base body 12 and connected to the electrodes 14.
